My dogs are an essential part of my life as my “fur children”. I grew up in the 70’s going to dog shows due to my parents being Professional Dog Handlers and have been going ever since.

CONDITIONAL SALE AGREEMENT

  1.  The price of $_________ to be paid immediately upon purchase of dog.
  2.  The buyer understands that this dog is being sold strictly as a pet, neither for show nor breeding purposes and will be registered with the AKC under limited   registration. The buyer understands that the breeder will hold the AKC papers until proof of neutering or spaying is finished by the buyer to the breeder, at   which time the breeder will send the AKC papers to buyer. The buyer agrees that this dog will not be bred and if a Female will be spayed prior to her 2nd   heat cycle. We also require if a Male he will be Neutered.  ________

OR   Buyer understands that this dog is being sold on a performance contract and is allowed to be intact and solely owned by Buyer. Said puppy/dog will be free of            disqualifying faults at maturity as determined by the breed standard and any known genetic faults at  the time of the sale.  Maturity is the period of 6                  months of age or the dog becomes a Champion of record or (2) two years of age. Seller is selling dog for performance purposes only. No breeding of the            said dog shall take place without the consent of the breeder. If a breeding/replacement of puppy/dog should occur without the consent of Tammy H . Forbes,            the Buyer will pay the Breeder $5,000.  __________

  1. The dog shall reside with the Buyer. The Buyer shall notify the Breeder immediately if the dog cannot be kept by the Buyer. The dog shall not be sold, transferred, or given to any individual or to any retail or wholesale establishment for the purpose of sale or resale to the public. The Buyer and Breeder agree to keep each other informed of their current address and phone number. 

  2. The Buyer agrees that it is the Buyers responsibility to accept the dog as described. The Breeder has provided and the Buyer has acknowledged a full disclosure of the health habits, and temperament of the dog. The dog’s health records, from Dr. Leigh McBride Veterinarian, will be supplied at time of purchase.

  3. The purchaser agrees to take the dog to a veterinarian of his choice for a health examination within 76 hours of purchase. (Not including weekends and holidays)

  4. The Buyer agrees to sign the necessary papers to return the Breeder as sole owner of the dog in the event the dog is returned to the Breeder.  _________

  5. Buyer agrees to care for the puppy/dog in a reasonable manner to include that the puppy will have access to a fenced yard, to include protection from traffic, not be chained or tethered. This puppy/dog will never be off leash in a non-secured area.  Puppy/dog will be provided with proper housing, nutrition, veterinary care and exercise. Buyer is expected to properly socialize and expose the puppy/dog to various situations so as to develop a sound temperament. Buyer also agrees dog will not be used as a guard dog for any reason.
